It features upgraded technology and premium engineering to provide more braking power than previous systems. The system delivers a 30% power increase from the Tech 3 model, with light lever action for reduced fatigue and increased feel. The hinged clamp design enables easy installation, while reduced friction internal sealing and a ball bearing pivot contribute to smooth operation and reliability. The E4 caliper utilizes hybrid style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert, allowing for smoother movement and less maintenance while still managing high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use. Genuine bite point and reach adjustment are available without tools, providing customizable braking feel. The brake is precision machined from aluminum forged billet using 5-axis machining. Direct shifter mounts are available for SRAM and Shimano EV compatibility.
